Questions
What's the difference between mold removal and mycotoxin removal?
Mold removal takes out the organism and the visible growth. Mycotoxins are the toxic compounds certain molds produce, and they remain on surfaces and in contents after the mold itself is gone. A traditional remediation is not designed to clear them — that is the gap MycotoxinKlear is built for.
Do I use this before or after mold remediation?
After. MycotoxinKlear is the final step once remediation is complete. If you can still see active mold growth, start with MoldStain T-Klear instead.
How much do I need for a 2,000 sq ft house?
For a full treatment — fogging plus cleaning contents — roughly 5 gallons, at 2.5 gallons per 1,000 sq ft. For fogging only, roughly 2 gallons. The product ships full strength, so there is no dilution to account for.
Is it safe for people with chemical sensitivity?
It is formulated for exactly that case. Plant-based enzymes, no chlorine and no harsh solvents, leaving no toxic residue. It is used in schools and food service environments and with clients who react to conventional remediation chemicals.
Can I apply it with a fogger?
Yes. Fogging is the recommended method for full coverage. It also works through an electrostatic sprayer, or by spray bottle and wipe-down for smaller areas.
MycotoxinKlear removes mycotoxins — the residue mold leaves behind on surfaces and in contents after the mold itself is gone. It is the final step after a traditional mold remediation, which is designed to remove the organism and not the compounds it produced.
Mold and mycotoxins are two different jobs
A remediation crew finds the moisture, contains the area and removes the colonized material. That handles the organism.
Mycotoxins are chemical compounds certain molds produce while growing. They are far smaller than spores, they settle onto hard surfaces and work into soft contents, and they are not alive — so they cannot be killed, and removing the mold does not remove them. Standard clearance testing measures airborne spore counts, which is a different thing again.
That gap is what this product is for.
How it works
Plant-derived enzymes break the target compounds apart at a molecular level rather than bleaching a stain or masking an odor. The residue stops being that compound. Nothing is added back into the space — no chlorine, no solvent carriers, no film left behind.
